About this cartoon: Donald Trump, rebuffed repeatedly in getting Congress to allocate billions of dollars for his border wall to keep out the "hoards" of "terrorists" trying to "invade" the country, declared a "national emergency" to raid other parts of government for the money. With the emergency mostly being in his racist rhetoric, the most urgent reason for his wall with Mexico is his urgency to appeal to his die-hard base of supporters.
